Lash & Brow Tint

Brows

1. Put your hair back and cleanse your eyebrows thoroughly using a non-oily cleanser to ensure the area is completely oil and makeup free.

2. Apply a moisture barrier around your eyebrows and on your upper eyelids using petroleum jelly. Vaseline works well.

3. Prepare your tint mixture. Start by squeezing 1cm of the tint into a dish, then add the Tint Activator drop by drop until you have a creamy, spreadable consistency – about three drops is perfect. Mix well with a mascara wand and stir into a smooth paste.

4. Apply the tint to your brows using a mascara wand. Make sure every hair is covered and shaped as desired.

5. Leave the tint on your brows for between 5-10 minutes, depending on how dark you want your brows to be – the longer you wait, the darker the result. Remember that the first brow you applied the tint to has had a little longer, so give the second one an extra minute or so before removing the mixture.

6. Remove the mixture with damp cotton wool. Et voila, behold your beautiful new brows!

Lashes

1. Cleanse your face, especially the lashes and area around them, using an oil-free cleanser.

2. Apply a barrier cream or petroleum jelly on your upper and lower eyelids to prevent staining the skin during the colouring process.

3. Squeeze around 1 cm of tint on a tray. Using the mascara wand side of the Mylee Dual Ended Tinting Brush, apply to the lashes making sure they are all coated. Leave on for 2-4 minutes.

4. Fold a dry cotton pad in half and enclose the lashes in it to gently remove the tint of the lashes without touching the skin. Wait a few minutes for the skin and hair to dry completely. During this time, clean the mascara wand thoroughly.

5: Apply the Mylee Express Developer Gel using the mascara wand. Do not apply too close to the olyeye as this may cause watering. Leave on for 1-2 minutes.

6. Wipe your lashes again using a damp cotton pad. Clean your wand and prepare to bat those luscious lashes!

Express 2-In-1 Lash & Brow Tint

1. Cleanse your face, especially the eyebrows and area around, with an oil-free cleanser. Brush your brows with the mascara wand.

2. (optional): Apply a barrier cream or petroleum jelly (not included) around your brows to prevent staining the skin during the colouring process.

3. Squeeze around 1 cm of tint on a tray. Apply to the lashes with the angled side of the brush to help you shape your brows. Leave on for 2-4 minutes.

4. Remove the tint thoroughly with a dry cotton pad. Wait a few minutes for the skin and hair to dry completely.

5. Apply the Mylee Express Developer Gel using the angled side brush. Leave on for 1-2 minutes.

6. Wipe the developer off your brows with a moist cotton pad. Clean the brush, sit back and admire your beautiful new brows!

FAQs

For our traditional brow tint, leave the tint on your brows for 3 to 5 minutes and lashes for 10 minutes.

You can leave the tint on for as long as 15 minutes if you wish, but bear in mind, the longer you leave it on, the stronger the colour will be, and no further darkening will take effect after 15 minutes.

For our 2-in-1 Express Tint, apply to your brows and leave on for 2 to 4 minutes. Apply the Express Developer Gel and leave for 1 to 2 minutes, wiping off with a moist cotton pad after this time.

We recommend tinting your lashes every 4 to 6 weeks. By this time, your tint will have faded, so you can then reapply.

However, this will vary depending on your hair type, how dark you applied the tint and how often you wash your face.

Yes! Our 2-in-1 Express Tint works wonderfully on sparse brows because it’ll tint the skin underneath the eyebrow hairs as well as the brows themselves.
